I would like to become more involved with improving the level of emergency and community service that our local Fire District provides. I have had the pleasure of being involved with our local Fire District as a citizen and as a Board Member of our local Fire Safe Council. This has allowed me to be more informed with the finer aspects of providing exceptional fire suppression service, emergency medical services, search and rescue activities, public fire safety and medical education. I feel that the progressive nature of our local Fire District must be continued while giving careful consideration to it’s related expense structure. I look forward to bringing my past business experience and community involvement to improve this institution’s focus and plans for the future. I also look forward to working with all the Lake Tahoe Basin fire protection agencies to help ensure that the total Tahoe Basin is as fire safe as possible.
