- So many good memories from my high school days. I especially remember looking forward to all the football and basketball games, cheerleading, twirling, drill team and of course skiing. I still love skiing today but do more cross-country now. I love coming from a small school where everyone knows everyone. We had closer contact with our teachers and for some of us they had time to give us the extra minute we needed. When I tell my friends I could go back to those days in a second and start all over they think I am crazybut that is how I feel about my whole life. I want to do it again!!!!
- Ron and I have been living in Pullman, WA. since 1964. Ron teaches Veterinarian Radiology at WSU and I had my own Interior Design and Decorating business for 23 years. I sold the store and retired in 2000. Ron and I have taken advantage of the University life and traveled all over the world. In 1992-93 Ron and I lived in Norway for a year. We call it our second honey-moon. It was the most wonderful experience a couple could have together. I definitely recommend it for any marriage. This is where we started cross-country skiing and fell in love with it. Ron loves his hunting and fishing. He usually is gone the whole month of Sept. with our boys Elk Hunting. About 12 years ago a very good friend and I decided this would be a great time for us to travel together. It's worked out great. Ron does not feel so guilty leaving me home alone and I love traveling. We have been all over Europe, Montreal, Costa Rica, and discovered most of the east by car. Last year we borrowed my son's Motor home and traveled through Montana and Canada camping and antiquing.
- &4. When I retired I had a list a mile long of all the things I planned to do since I would have the time. This has been a big disappointment to me. I find I can't fit it all in so I have shortened my list considerably. I love to garden, want to be a Martha Stewart cook-a-like, I have a new sewing machine that embroideries and I love it, learning to quilt, taking guitar lessons so I can sing and play songs with my four beautiful granddaughters
- (see above, combined answer with #3)
- We have three children, Bjorn 38 and Perrin 36. They both have two daughters and are sure I have put a curse on them. They both live in Spokane about 80 miles away so I see the girls a lot. Lucky for Papa and Nana!!! Michelle is 31, lives in WDC, married and no children. A great excuse to travel.
- If any of you come through Pullman, I will be so disappointed if you do not call and (or) stop by for a visit. We have plenty of room if you would like to use us as a rest stop. We'd love it!!

- I remember Mrs. Gaumer’s English class and her “list of books to read”, which I did and a lot of extra ones. I remember how much I disliked math!
- I’m glad I had the opportunity to raise my children in a “primitive area”; I was a caretaker of a mine that had been closed in the Salmon area and took my kids to a tutor at a ranch where they got lots of “one on one” help. I’ve enjoyed river running white water on the Salmon River (mostly by jet boat). One very special thing; a former foster child returned to see me, 27 years later, to introduce his wife and family and to let me know what a difference I had made in his life. That was truly a rewarding moment in my life.
- My goal is to make a complete recovery from my prior surgery.
- I maintain various properties in Idaho and Nevada, and as a consequence, travel a great deal. I have an interest in collecting antiques, to keep for myself and for creative projects to share with others. I collect copper to make sculptures with, and enjoy anything that I can apply my imagination to. I also enjoy computers and digital cameras.
- I have 2 children and 3 stepchildren, and have a total of 19 grandchildren.

- Schroeder’s red ’49 Ford it was always 50 50 if the car would break down / or run out of gas. My dad’s ’57 Olds being the 3rd fastest car at school during the lunch time drag races. Huston, Schroeder, Albin, and Farmer, thx for getting me started on beer, driving fast, and chasing girls! Albin behind the window at the start of Mr. Glassingers’ Algebra class easily the most mad that Mr. Glassinger was during our tenure at school. Moving “Peter Pan’s” Corvair. Taking typing class where all the “hot” girls were. Not getting caught for the “TFHS” painting and being part of the committee to find the rascals. Numerous episodes hunting pheasants and jackrabbits, and Halloween pranks! Being on the receiving end of all the great Schroeder football / basketball passes - too bad our teams sucked! Getting a great education I’m still ticked about getting a “C” from Mrs. Gaumer; special kudos to Mr. Glassinger, you were awesome and got the most out of us!
- 30 years of marriage to my wonderful wife Christy. We have two wonderful daughters Ashley age 25, graduated from SDSU two years ago and working in the human resources field. Whitney, age 22 and a year away from graduating from SDSU. We have had numerous travels (Saudi Arabia is NOT fun), events, and good times and are still blessed with good health. Lakers’ 3peat! And finally, beating Schroeder and Albin at golf occasionally!
- My wife Christy of 30 years and I would greatly look forward to having grandchildren. Neither daughter is seriously dating anyone currently, who knows when we’ll have the chance to spoil our grandkids!
- My day job is as the principle in a company retained, executive recruiting consulting company check out our website at www.saengerassociates.com. My wife and I enjoy golfing, playing bridge, snow skiing, and spending time with family and friends; I’m a complete sports addict season tickets for UCLA football and basketball, share season tix for the Lakers, attend a few Dodger games, and attend most of the local high school football / basketball games. I’ve been a Big Brother in the Big Brother / Little brother program for the past 5 years. My “little” Justin, will be a junior in high school this fall where he plays football / basketball. Both of our daughters played a lot of softball where I helped to coach for several years.
- Daughters - Ashley, Whitney, 0 grandchildren that we know of!

- That I graduated is what I remember most.
- We’ve enjoyed traveling and camping to various places in North America in our motor home.
- Two things come to mind. One is to visit all 50 states, and then the other is to die.
- I’m semi retired; I firmly believe in a 2 income family, and as soon as I find my wife a second job, we’ll be one. I am trying to finish up the remodeling on the old Rogerson property downtown, and trying to get all my old classic cars running, at the same time. We enjoy exhibiting our antique cars at shows around the Northwest.
- We have two daughters, one granddaughter, and one granddog.

- I only went to Filer for about 3/4 of a year, so there wasn't a lot of things that I was involved with.
- My most favorite times have been the birth of my children and grandchildren. Traveling with my wife, Karen and our kids, to Mexico and the Oregon Coast. We have found out how much fun it can be crabbing. I am just waiting for retirement so we can enjoy traveling from one kid's house to another with our 5th wheel. We have told them they need to have a long extension cord and hose so that we can take our home with us.
- I have so many things that I still want to do it is hard to pick just one. More traveling is high on the list.
- Karen and I are still farming. We have a few years before we can think about retiring. Our main hobby is traveling to Mexico, AZ and the OR Coast.
- Karen and I have been married for almost 22 years. We have between us 5 great kids. Todd, 32, and his wife Tracie have one son Connor who just turned 2, they are in Dublin, CA. Chris, 29 and his wife Kali have one daughter Makenzi who will be 1 on July 3rd, they are in Pt. Mugu where Chris is in the Navy as a flight engineer on a P3. Erin, 27 and her husband Travis have one daughter, Jordan, almost 6, a son, Jared, just turned 2 and another boy on the way due in Sept. They are in St. Louis where Travis is studying to be a chiropractor. Sara will be 21 on July 3rd., she has finished two years of college and is working in Twin Falls while she decides what direction to go next. Kari will be 20 in July, she is still "finding herself", so while she does that she is working in Twin Falls.

- My parents purchased the Filer farm just prior to my Sophomore year. I can remember all my teachers (maybe not their names), all my classmates, whom many remain good friends to this day. I met the love of my life, Becky Jo Melton. Our first date was to sit together in the HS auditorium to view the movie TAMMY. I remember the soc-hops, Proms, chorus hay rides and many other good times, to include Mr. Bartlett's driving Ed. class. My Cushman Eagle, my first car, a 1949 Chevy coupe which I sanded and painted cherry red. My senior year I traded it in for a 1956 Buick 4-door yellow and white hardtop.
- The fall after graduation, Ted Ostercamp, Stan Mai, Pat Krepcik and myself went on a California trip to Santa Cruz, Palm Springs areas. During the trip traveling over Donner Summit in Ted's brother's new Olds Starfire, we heard the news that President John F. Kennedy had been shot. We were saddened, however we did continue to have a great time on that trip. Pat and Ted were going into the USAF and I decided to go into the Army Nat'l Guard, which would allow me to continue farming and seeing Becky. My first six months in the Guards helped me to decide to enroll at BJC (Boise Junior College) and I roomed with Garry Pedrow, the fullback and extra-point kicker for the Broncos (and a Filer graduate). The following summer Becky and I married (July 31, 1965 and we went on our honeymoon to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm. We started our family which brought us two great kids, Randy (now 37 years of age), and Rhonda (now 36 years of age). We custom farmed for ten years. In 1975 we sold the Kuna farm and I took a job as a fieldman for a Filer bean company. In 1977 we moved to Mountain Home, where I built a bean cleaning business, along with other partners, and also worked as a sales rep. for Koch Implement out of Hammett. We have enjoyed all kinds of sports and recreation to include water skiing, snow skiing, horses, golf, tailgating at BSU games. Our daughter planned her wedding on the very date BSU was to play Moscows Vandalls (yes, I missed the game-ha) she was beautiful wearing Becky's wedding dress that Becky's mom had sewn for her for our wedding.
- R.E.T.I.R.E…!.!.!
- Sales Rep for Brico of Idaho golfing and backpacking with my son in the wilderness for days traveling to Blasdell, New York to visit our daughter and her family. Going to our cabin in Pine, Idaho. Walking my legs off, mountain biking, water skiing, snow skiing, watching Chicago Cubs Baseball, watching Nascar races, you name it, if its fun I'm there.
- One son, Randy, 37 (single/divorced with granddaughter Erica, 9). One daughter, Rhonda, 36, married, 2 grandsons, Dan, 16, Bill 15, and a granddaughter, Becky, 13

- I remember English class, Algebra/Geometry and Chemistry class. Guess I must have been rather academic!!! What no one believes me? I know I tried my best in English and wanted to do well; I never have understand Algebra and still struggle with it to this day. Luck for some that I don't have to teach it. Chemistry, ah, yes that was the class where the "Big Bang" occurred. Fortunately, my guardian angel was watching over me then and continues to this day.
- I have had a remarkable forty years. I've had the opportunity to live in Washington and Nebraska and then return to Idaho for the remaining 32 years. I appreciate our state even though we have some uninformed people in the legislature when it comes to educational issues. One big highlight besides becoming a mother to a son and daughter, was a 10 day trip to the Caribbean where my husband and I were guests on a power yacht cruising various small islands. A once in a life time experience.
- I have yet to win the lottery and become a grandma. I'm sure I can achieve one of those in my remaining years!!! Well, at least I'm hopeful.
- I'm still employed as an elementary school teacher in Gooding, Idaho. I have put more time into improving my golf game, however, if you play a round with me you probably won't agree. I don't take it serious and don't plan to join the tour anytime soon. I attend church regularly at Immanuel Lutheran in Twin Falls where I can keep tabs on Glenn and Judy Schroeder.
- Both of our children are married and live in Idaho. Travis (son) and Mandi just recently moved to Twin Falls. If you need a good lawyer specializing in water law let me know. Raleigh (daughter) and John live in Boise. If you need a good investment broker I can refer you to one. You probably realized that neither chose the wonderful profession of education. I did influence them just a little. Both are happy and parents to dogs....Zoey and Kodiak. Some day that will change.

- I loved those years at FHS. We graduated at just the right time, in my opinion -- just before the major "sex, drugs, R&R" revolution hit the '60's. I also think we were one of the best classes to come out of FHS (and I'm still watching them come). As a group, we were a great bunch of kids and I have so many fond memories of my friendships with you. I'm sorry I will miss seeing many of you again at this reunion. Probably the person I remember most (other than my closest friends, Karen & Martha) and who had a great influence on me was Mr. Farris. I've been a teacher for 24 years now and as I look back on how he inspired and loved his music students at FHS, I am amazed. What a wonderful person! Where is he now?
- When my son returned from an LDS mission to Puerto Rico in '94, our whole family returned the following Dec. and stayed a week. It was super to have a tour guide who spoke the language so fluently and was a member of the fam! And I loved hiking in El Junque. In fact, I've been bitten pretty hard by the travel bug. On a little jaunt to L.A. a few years ago, I called Gary Albin and he flew Mike, Florence (Mike's Mom) and me to Catalina Island in his helicopter, with the personalized tour from the air. Fun! Also, in '99, I went with my hubby (who teaches art at the local j.c.) to take a group of CSI art students to Europe. We spent a week in London, a week in Paris, a week in Copenhagen. It was a terrific experience. I'll show off my scrapbook at the next reunion!
- What do you mean, ONE thing!!! Try a thousand things. But first on my list is to RETIRE.
- Present occupation/hobby/travels/other interests or major activities. I'm still the librarian at Filer High, and it truly is a good job. As Ted Glassinger used to say, "Working with the kids keeps you young." At least in the head. Sort of. I also dabble in the arts. Remember that art class a few of us coerced Mr. Kious to teach way back when? That kindled my life-long love for the arts (it also helps to be married to an artist), and I'm itchin' to be able to devote more time to some serious drawing and painting.
- Two sons and one daughter. (the youngest son just got married last October.) Four grandchildren: Ian, 8, Torrin, 6, Jaco, 4, Keri, almost 2. Grandchildren are absolutely the BEST, right?

- My classmates and friends at school - how we got along so well, helped each other - we were so smart! We also had good teachers who took the time to get to know us all, and still give us a great education. At the time, it all seemed "normal" but it was truly remarkable.
- Tall order for a short guy. I went to college with my sweetheart from high school, Pat Dierker. We married, lived in Washington State a few years, moved to Maryland and still live here among the rolling hills, hardwood trees, and traffic jams.
- Learn to set the defaults in MS Office so I can type simple sentences without creating bullet lists, changing colors, or being beeped by a paperclip.
- On staff at Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University, unwilling MS test user, physical golf comic, shopping bag attendant.
